Sending out self-tapes but not sure
if they are ACTUALLY working?

Most actors struggle with this. You hit submit and then spiral—was that good enough? Should I have done another take? Did I make a weird face at the end?

If you are tired of being on that struggle bus, this is the class for YOU.

You'll learn what separates a competitive tape from one that gets passed over, and you'll stop relying on friends or AI to tell you if it's "good." Plus, you'll be surrounded by other actors who are serious about improving both their craft and their technical setup—because both matter.

  • Get access to 8 sides (2 per each challenge).
  • Over 12 HOURS of lessons to help you develop your own critical eye
  • Downloadable Self-Tape Checklist
  • Reclaim Your Creativity ✨

What We Covered in 4 Weeks

Horror/Action Challenge.

You have to know the rules before you break them. Doing action in scenes is like Goldilocks--too little and it doesn't make sense, too much and it becomes distracting. Horror adds another layer: authentic fear reactions without telegraphing the scare.

We'll help you find the balance between physical commitment and emotional truth when the stakes are life or death.

  • "Can I use a prop? Some CDs don't like them."
  • "I'm supposed to be still in front of camera, right?"
  • "Do I ignore the action or do it all?"
Period Piece Challenge.

Period work requires you to transform without letting the costume wear you. The key is making historical behavior feel natural and grounded, not like you're performing in a museum.

We'll show you how to embody a different era while keeping your performance truthful and accessible.

  • "Do I need to change my voice or way of speaking for authenticity?"
  • "Do I soften my modern mannerisms or commit fully to the roughness?"
  • "Should I research the time period or just focus on the script?"
Comedy Challenge.

Comedy is TECHNICAL business. The funniest performances come from actors who play the truth of the situation, not from trying to be funny.

Let us help you understand the difference between "getting a laugh" and "playing comedy"—and why one works on camera while the other falls flat.

  • "Can I add my own jokes or do I have to stick to the script exactly?"
  • "How do I know if I'm doing too much?"
  • "Should I try to be funny or just play it straight?"
Recurring Challenge.

You're not a Series Regular, but you're more than a one-off. Recurring characters need to make an impact and while serving the story across multiple episodes.

Learn how to create a character that's memorable enough to bring back without overshadowing the leads.

  • "How much backstory should I create if I'm only in three episodes?"
  • "Do I make big choices or play it smaller since I'm not a series regular?"
  • "How do I stay consistent when I'm shooting episodes out of order?"
Vertical Drama Challenge.

Vertical dramas are rewriting the rules—tight close-ups, rapid storytelling, and performances designed for a phone screen instead of a cinema. These bite-sized scenes demand maximum impact in minimal time, and the intimacy of the format means there's nowhere to hide.

We'll teach you how to command attention in 60 seconds or less.

  • "Do I play bigger since people are watching on tiny screens?"
  • "How do I build a character arc when each scene is only a minute long?"
  • "Is this just social media acting or does it count as real screen work?"
Will I receive feedback in every class? No, but you will receive feedback at least a couple of times.

And here's why...

Due to class size, we will not be giving feedback to every tape submitted each week.

Selected tapes will be used to highlight lessons and tips for you to apply a critical eye to your self-tapes.

We want to arm you with the tools to take ownership of your creative process and feel confident working on your tapes on your own.

No more "actor guru" mentality.

ARE YOU READY TO HAVE SOME FUN?

Re-discover and reclaim your creativity with your self-tape auditions. Get in community and be inspired.
