What Students Have To Say...
“This Self-Tape May class was an investment I'm so glad I took advantage of. Having Anna & Alyshia lead this class with their combined years of professional expertise & know-how as working actors and working in this manner where we see in real-time how different people approach the same material, how that ultimately leads to the mind-easing fact (for me, at least) that it really is "selection and not rejection," has moved me into a new mind-space as to how I approach my upcoming auditions. I'm even more motivated and excited to climb the stairs on my journey and without apology. I've been fortunate enough to have learned from some top tier coaches during this wild time in our world and Anna & Alyshia are absolutely in that number. ”

“After taking the SelfTape May class with Anna and Alyshia I realized how vital it is to take classes from working actors. If you need to uplevel your on camera skills The New Triple Threat is absolutely the place to go. I just booked my first two theatrical projects and I am deeply indebted to them both because for each I can point to the tips, script analysis, and technical know-how they generously equipped me with. ”

“This class is great practice of the craft within a great structure and super smart coaches. I thought the critiques were so smart and helpful and filled with great bullet points and tips:) I gained more clarity on the things I need to work on. There is no way you come out of it without more clarity and understanding of what it is you need to do to take your work to the next level. And it was FUN!”

“When I signed up I was self-taping in a backyard with natural light and didn't even own a tripod. So my personal focus in the class was specifically buying a modest setup for Self-Tapes and learning how to use it, rather than Scene Study. The class was a constructive playground that welcomed me to make as many mistakes as possible to learn and grow. I had a weekly reason to assemble my unfamiliar equipment, teach myself how to use my DSLR (Exposure Triangle!), learn about Lighting for Self-Taping from the Lighting Class, and inevitably create a space to focus on my work, rather than my setup. Now I'll be able to focus on my craft, and book the room/job, rather than feeling burdened by all this technology. ”
