What Students Are Saying...

“I LOVED this course because it taught me not to be afraid to use the frame. I saw how I can use my frame and closeups to help tell my character's point of view or to tell a specific story. We do all this character and scene work and this course taught me not to let it go to waste by not using my only tool in self-tape. MY FRAME.”

Emily Trujillo from California

“This is an accessible and comprehensive course which explains framing and its importance in enhancing storytelling in self-taping. I feel empowered to go forth and create more dynamic and interesting work, and I feel this new knowledge and skill will make my tapes stand out from the crowd. Thank you Anna for this excellent guide and for generously sharing your work as examples to illustrate each step. Wonderful! ”

Fiona Brown from Ireland

“This course was SO useful! Helped me gain the confidence to move within the frame and not feel like a talking disembodied head. ”

Nardeep Khurmi from Los Angeles

“The "What's My Frame?" course answered every question I had regarding how to use the camera in my own self-tapes. As a theatre-trained actress, I often feel like I have to stand completely still on tape or else I'll be deemed "too big" for TV or film. But this course taught me that in order to create a truly dynamic and unique self-tape, confidence in movement and camera frame is essential! I can't wait for my next tape and to incorporate all of these tools.”

Nina Concepcion from Los Angeles

“This course was a GAME CHANGER for me. It gave me such valuable tools to understanding my frame that worked not just for my self-tapes, but for in the room auditions and on set.”

Xochitl Romero from Los Angeles
